Byers Historical Farm (Commerce, MI) is open on Sundays from noon to 5pm. There are hundreds of ducks there in the winter. Go if you can!

Ducks Paddling Up the Grand River

We took a stroll along the banks of the Grand River before dinner this evening. A storm was blowing in and the ducks were in a hurry to take cover!

Half Frozen Pond

My body is still adjusting to the time change, but it sure was nice to be able to get home, even after a late meeting, and still have enough day light to be able to enjoy a quick walk around the neighborhood. This duck couple was spotted doing a little swimming and doing a little walking on the ice.

This duck duo was spotted at Hess-Hathaway Park, White Lake.
