Hiking in the rain is wet, buggy, and muggy. But it sure is pretty!

I arrived at work this morning as the landscape maintenance crew was busy at work. Although I only captured two workers in this photo, there were a few more. I chuckled and couldn't get the Ghostbusters movie out of my mind. Could this be the Leafbusters?

A pile of burning leaves was burning in a yard I walked by today. Not many people burn leaves in my neighborhood.

It's been super windy the last few days and most trees lost all their leaves. Lots of raking to do!

Oooh... wish I still taught science in the classroom! This picture would be a great one to show students and ask the question: "Why do you think the leaves of this tree change at different rates?"
