Hey Pam- it's Dale again! This bug is a stink bug, of the hemiptera (hemi=half; ptera=wing; all members of this family have the same pattern on their back) family. If you irritate it, it has a distinct smell- some say it smells like bananas. We're seeing lots of eurasian ladybug (exotic) and stinkbugs indoors in the winter; the ladybugs like our buildings and the stinkbugs like eating the ladybugs! check out http://www.insectidentification.org/ for more insect info
Definitely a sand bug of some kind - maybe that's why it likes the colour of your office door!
