January 9, 2009

I spent the day facilitating a teacher professional development session in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. The Soo Locks were less than a mile from where I was, so I stopped there before heading home. I took some pictures of the Soo Locks, but they didn't turn out very well, as the water was frozen and there was not much to see. However, I drove along and soon saw the bridge to Canada, a spectacular sight.

  1. This is a great photo! It's been many many years since I have been that way in MI.

  2. Nice shot. That is what I love about this challenge. It really keeps you looking. There is so much beauty for us to find.
