I spent some time in the WJR Radio Studio today for MEA's "Voices of Michigan Radio." I spoke about the MACUL Conference, coming up next week. Other teachers and a student were there as well discussing technology projects created in classrooms across the state. The audio from some fantastic student projects will be aired. All of the teachers (including me) talked about the impact that technology has on students; increased motivation, opportunities for deeper understanding, student ownership of learning, and the positive effects of publishing online. Experiencing the inner working of a broadcasting studio was neat, too! Tune into WJR on Tuesday night at 7pm!
