I haven't posted a picture of my silly cat in awhile. Today I looked up as I was working to find her sandwiched in the waste basket. Could that really be comfortable?

I saw this plant with clustered red berries at Dodge Park in Commerce Twp, Michigan. I had no idea what it was, but discovered after a 30 second Google search (key words: wild plant with red berries) that it is Jack in the Pulpit. Read about it on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arisaema_triphyllum.

I hid my first geocache in this park. It has a key chain theme (leave a key chain, take a key chain). It is currently being reviewed by a geocaching.com volunteer reviewer. This is so fun!

My parents gave us a pan for grilling pizza. We used it for the first time this evening. The pizza was delicious! So much better than baking in the oven. My daughter and I had Hawaiian, my husband had lotza meat. Yum!

I arrived home from being away for three days to find my tomato plant nearly dead. It is in a patio planter and the storm had it completely drowned in water. Obviously, the drainage system in the pot wasn't working very well. It did have one red tomato, a two biter, that was delicious!

One of the teachers I worked with this week was presenting a lesson he created, demonstating an interactive math activity. He used a Gyration Air Mouse. It was so cool! He could control his computer from afar. This is a gadget now on my wish list!

This is Walled Lake. There used to be an amusement park on the other side that was a hot spot. It burned down several years ago. This photo was taken from the restaurant where I had lunch yesterday. Not many boats were out on the lake on this beautiful sunny day; I suppose the poor economy is keeping people from owning boats and paying for the fuel.

Middle school students in Coopersville, Michigan are very lucky! They will soon be issued their own HP Mini laptop. I'm working with their teachers and they will be ready.

The high school where I'm faciliting teacher professional development has a really neat statue of a horse in front of the school. It's very fitting, as their school mascot/team name is the Broncos.
