I worked the entire day (and night) on a video I am making about our district's laptop program to be shown to parents. I never left the house, so my photo of the day was taken when I went ventured out to get the mail. This shrub by my front porch is anxiously awaiting Spring. It is a Red Barbary in case you wondered. It will look much nicer in a few months!

Students from one of our middle schools were guests at the Jumpstart Your Classroom to the 21st Century Conference in Dearborn, Michigan. Participants watched as they analyzed and reported a huge database of survey results. The students did an awesome job.

I have no idea what this tree is, but I love the bright red blossoms! I saw it at a golf course in Kissimee, Florida. It reminds me of my Christmas cactus in a way. If you know what it is, please tell me in a comment.

They have the coolest birds in Florida. This heron was walking around the golf course today. If I wasn't fumbling so long trying to get my camera out, I would have had a great shot of an alligator eating something in a pond!
