EARTH DAY 2009:
When my son was in elementary school, he asked his Grandma and Grandpa for a tree for his birthday. His teacher did a great job teaching the importance of planting trees, conservation, and recycling. Grandma and Grandpa gave him a itsy bitsy pine tree. This little tree has moved with us to two houses. If and when we move again, it will be too big to take with us. This year it produced hundreds of small pine cones!
